Crawford Art Gallery announces Sunday and Bank Holiday opening

The Crawford Art Gallery is to open on Sundays and Bank Holidays in response to growing visitor numbers. The new opening hours will come into effect in April. The Crawford Art Gallery already welcomes almost 200,000 visitors a year.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Cork City Council Events Office is accepting applications from groups wishing to participate in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Forms are available on or by email from . Join us to celebrate the Cork St. Patrick’s Festival as the city comes to life for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday March 17th.

Early Bird Registration Now Open For the 2018 Irish Examiner Cork City Marathon, Sunday 3rd June

Now in its 12th year, the Irish Examiner Cork City Marathon is an internationally recognised marathon welcoming participants from home and abroad.
Entry is now open for the 2018 marathon, half-marathon and relay on Sunday 3rd June. You can enter online here. (Entry for the Youth Challenge will open shortly.)

Lord Mayor’s Charity Ball launched at Cork City Hall

A night of old school glamour is promised at the 2018 Lord Mayor’s Charity Ball which will take place on Sunday March 18th at Cork City Hall over the St Patrick’s Weekend Festival. Proceeds from the Lord Mayor’s Charity Ball will we go to Down Syndrome Ireland & The Down Syndrome Centre, Enable Ireland, Mercy Hospital Cork and Cork University Hospital.
