November 3rd will see the return of Munster’s largest indoor food and drink market taking place in Cork City Hall.
70 of the best food and drinks producers from Cork and Kerry will be in-house showcasing their finest products. Free Cookery Demonstrations from The Happy Pear and Kevin Dundon will be on offer for the adults and budding chefs can check out the children’s Baking demonstration.
Join in the fun on Saturday November 3rd from 10am to 6pm. A special after work event for over 18s will also take place on Friday 2nd November from 5pm – 9pm. Come along to sample a tipple from local craft brewers and distillers and learn how to pair drinks with great local food. Live music will also help to ease you in to the weekend!

The Cork Film Festival is Ireland’s largest and first film festival and one of Cork’s most significant and popular annual cultural events. The Cork Chocolate Weekend will return to The Cork International Hotel on 23rd to the 25th November 2018.
This event showcases chocolatiers, bakers, chocolate workshops, chocolate of all shapes and sizes. Its also a must see event for people who love baking – especially themed for Christmas baking.
This year, we will have renowned British Chocolatier, Mr. Paul A. Young alongside Mr. Paul Kelly, Executive Pastry Chef from The Merrion Hotel and Judge on The Great Irish Bake Off.

From 22nd-25th November Ó Bhéal in association with The Kino will present the 6th Ó Bhéal Winter Warmer Weekend Festival of Poetry.
Ó Bhéal’s sixth Winter Warmer festival weekend will feature twenty-three poets who will read and perform on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival in the all-newly refurbished, iconic arthouse cinema, The Kino on Washington Street, Cork city.
This year’s line-up includes Kit Fan, Mara Bergman, Iain Galbraith, Tony Curtis, Lucy English, Colette Bryce, Ailbhe Darcy, Pat Boran, Amy Key, Doireann Ní Ghríofa, Conal Creedon, Gerry Murphy, John Mee, Graham Allen, Simon Ó Faoláin, Alice McCullough, Celia Parra and Christopher Whyte.
All events are free, with a €5 suggested donation.
Cork Science Festival is a celebration of science events taking place from 11-18 November – running numerous workshops across the city with a 2 day exhibition on the 14th and 15th in the City Hall.
This year Cork Science Festival will deliver numerous workshops and shows to over 2,500 students in classrooms and venues all over Cork while over 5,000 are expected to visit the two day exhibition (Sat 14th & Sun 15th) at Cork City Hall.
All this activity and excitement makes Cork Science Festival one of the main partners of Science Week Ireland and one of the biggest events in the Irish science calendar.
